Massage Therapy

Massages can be booked throught the Floatation Center by calling (503)232-6161or through Common Ground Chiropractic and Massage at 503-232-4099. We prefer that massages be booked one day in advance. We also have gift certificates that can be purchased in-person as well as over the phone (it will be mailed to you the following day). There are a variety of packages available that incorporate massage, accupuncture, Chiropractic, floating and audio-visual stimulation. All 1 hour massages include 1 hour use of steamroom, dry sauna and 2 towels.

1 hour massage= $70 (w/acupuncture= $95)

1 1/2 hour massage= $95 (w/acupuncture= $130)

Terry McCormick, L. Ac., L.M.T.

Terry offers massage, accupuncture, and oriental medicine. His massage techniques vary from sports massage, pre-natal massage, pressure point therapy, Swedish relaxing massage and deep tissue. He is also a specialist in women's health and offers Chinese herbal supplements and medicine.

Terry McCormick, LAc, LMT specializes in tuina (pronounced 'twee-nah'), a form of remedial massage and bodywork that combines various advanced and complex hand manipulation by the therpaist to create a rythmic and specific effect.  Tuina is applied to various acupuncture points and channels to activate the meridian circulation to treat a wide variety of concerns beyond simply musculoskeletal tension. Chinese herbal medicine may also be be added to the treatment to enhance the treatment. Terry specializes in pain management, treatment of digestive disorders, reproductive health and infertility, hormonal and metabolic disorders, allergies, emotional balance, asthma, sleep disorders, sports injuries and stress related conditons.
